Well I have been away from the scene but am working on the gifts for my PIF recipients and am planning other things for the end of the year. So here it a peek preview of my work in hand... I can only say that I am (literally) half way through it
yes it is crochet and lots of it!
The other day I baked an apple cake and it was delicious. I'd like to share the recipe with you.
5oz soft margarine
2 eggs
8 oz caster sugar
1 tea spoon of almond essence
8 oz Self Raising Flour
12 oz cooking apples
a little of flaked almonds to spread over the top.
Mix all the ingredients in a food processor or even with a hand whisker and put on a loose end baking tin. Bake for approx 40 minutes (fan heated oven at around 180).
Enjoy it.
moist on the inside and a lovely aroma of apples and almond. A nice cup of tea = Total Bliss!
